Sunset Rubdown - Up On Your Leopard, Upon The End Of Your Feral Days
Sunset Rubdown began as a side-project of Wolf Parade’s Spencer Krug, but with three LPs under their belt, to Wolf Parade’s one (for another month, at least), it doesn’t really make much sense to refer to them as that anymore. And side projects aren’t usually this good, despite most Indie bands spawning at least two these days, it seems, and Krug himself having been a part of four. (Remember Fifths of Seven? Me neither.)
Anyway, this track comes from last year’s Random Spirit Lover, which is just about perfect, and one of my favourite albums released that year.
