Prefuse 73 feat. The Books - “Pagina Dos”

With the typical workweek frenzy, weekends are the best time for me to just sit back and take in some tuneage. So that’s how I spend my Saturday mornings: rifling through my ever-expanding iTunes library looking for something laid-back that I haven’t listened to in a while.

Today I spent part of this Saturday morning ritual with Prefuse 73’s 2005 Reads the Books EP. Not necessarily the sum of its parts that I hoped it would be (The Books, even though I love them, over power the record), it’s an nice, relaxing headphone listen. This track, “Pagina Dos”, should give you a rough idea of what to expect, even if it is one of the most upbeat tracks on the EP.
