Well, it’s official, we’ve selected our newest contributor, and I’ll let her introduce herself later.
Tuneage wants to thank everyone who sent in submissions; we had a blast reading through them all and getting a feel for the wide range of music our readers listen to. As Tuneage continues to grow, we’ll undoubtedly be adding more to the “staff” in the future, and we encourage everyone to submit again next time.
So a big thank you to the readers and submitters, Tuneage would be nothing without you.

Tuneage would like to extend a huge thanks to everyone who wrote in to be our next contributor—the response was even better than we anticipated!
We’ll begin sifting through the submissions and our next contributor will hear from us within the next day or two. Thanks again to all who submitted; it’s both humbling and exciting to see such an interest in our tumblelog and such a diverse musical population on Tumblr!

tuneage meta contributor submissions over
Tuneage has surprised us all. In just over one month, it has already exceeded every expectation we had when we started it. With that in mind, we’re turning to the tumbling masses to find another contributor to our humble tumblelog.
If you’re interested in contributing to Tuneage, we’ll need a few (very minor) things from you:
- A link to your Tumblr-hosted tumblelog and a brief description of your experience with the internet.
- An idea of the type of music you listen to. This can be as brief or detailed as you like; we just want to get a feel for what you like.
- A quick sample post. With this, all we’re looking for is a rough familiarity with our format and whether you’re comfortable with it.
Send your submission to tuneage.tumblr@googlemail.com before 12:01am Sunday, March 22 (CST). Thanks in advance to all who send in a submission; we can’t wait to see who our next contributor will be!
* It should be noted that audio posts to Tuneage will count against Tumblr’s 1-audio-post-per-day limit, so please keep that in mind when posting.

tuneage meta contributor submissions
We’ve made a few more changes to Tuneage. It was starting to look a little cluttered, so we added a sidebar, and moved the list of contributors to there. As well as that, we’ve added a permanent list of our favourite links, including the ones you recommended — feel free to suggest a few more; the more the better.
Also, when we added comments we mentioned that they were in on a trial basis. We’ve decided to keep them around; we like the sense of community they help build.
We’re also very proud to be featured in the spotlight on Tumblr’s homepage.
If you spot any mistakes or bugs, do let us know!

This isn’t music-related in the slightest, so feel free to gloss right over it if you like. We just wanted to mention a few minor changes to Tuneage. While everyone cool has been in Austin having fun at SXSW, we’ve been toiling away on making Tuneage better, and this is what we’ve got so far.
First of all: We made a slight design change and put some navigation in. That was a little bit of a glaring omission, we know. It includes a link that will take you to a random Tuneage post, too. Handy on a boring Tuesday afternoon at work.
Secondly, comments. And by that, I mean we have them now. They’re only in on a trial basis, though; we’re going to see how they go, how much they get used, and how much spam they attract, before we make a solid decision. As the saying goes: use ‘em or lose ‘em.
Sorry about the Sabbath reference in the title.
That’s it. Sound good?
