If you said the 60s, you’d be wrong, but it’s a forgivable mistake. A band from Charelston, South Carolina (!), the Explorers Club have channeled the Beach Boys like no one I’ve ever heard before. The music is perfect 60s California, the harmonies are spot-on, and everything literally feels like it was recorded 4 decades ago. It’s an impressive feat, if you ask me, so don’t feel bad if you have a hard time believing this song wasn’t released in the 60s.
