Math and Physics Club - “Darling, Please Come Home

Continuing my Spring-mandated twee binge, today feels like a good day for the Math and Physics Club. Formed in 2004, this Seattle band has more than a little in common with twee-favorites Belle & Sebastian, old-school Camera Obscura, and even the Lucksmiths. So if you’re into any of those bands, listen up.

This mid-tempo gem, the lead-off track from MAPC’s delightful 2006 self-titled LP which the band released among a string of EPs (also recommended), would feel right at home on Camera Obscura’s 2nd LP, Underachievers, Please Try Harder, and that’s not a bad thing.
