Blitzen Trapper - “Furr”
Thanks to a submission from Josh Abe, Tuneage has noticed another glaring oversight. This time it’s Blitzen Trapper’s “Furr”, from the album with the same name, and even we’re surprised we missed this one. Josh describes Blitzen Trapper’s Furr by saying, “the whole album is great, but the title track is pure magic and sex”. And while that’s clearly hyperbole, he’s right: the quasi-Americana/folk/alt-country feeling song has a timelessness to it that you don’t hear much these days, and that magic makes it just right for a Thursday afternoon.

Make that a Tuesday night anytime.

That or you love one (presumably my personal preference:)
Despite the content, this is a spirit-lifting song
Ah, this song gives me nostalgia for October/November ‘08…
I posted this song a while ago, however with this Tuneage post I thought I would reblog to say I agree: “Furr” is by far...
From tuneage: This song has been on my wishlist since I heard it used on “Chuck” months ago. So very, very nice.
Seeing as I’ve never actually posted this wonderful piece of music by the wonderful band I manage, I’ll just go ahead...
This song always puts me in a good mood. Prolly cause I’m a werewolf.
Blitzen Trapper, “Furr” Welcome to the party, tuneage. Beers are in the fridge.
