Dam-Funk - “Hood Pass Intact”

I was listening to Benji B’s weekly BBC radio show last week and he played this tune toward the beginning of his set. Pure futuristic funk. I’ve had the track for quite some time now, but I forgot just how nasty that bassline/hi-hat combo is underneath the lead synth line. Plus, “Hood Pass Intact” is a seriously ill name for a song. Dam-Funk’s Let’s Take Off maxi 12” comes out in May, but you can hit up the Stones Throw store for the digital release now.
