Fever Ray - “If I Had a Heart”

Fever Ray is actually Karin Dreijer Andersson, though she’s better known as the female half of Swedish electronic duo The Knife. Musically, “If I Had a Heart” is much darker and more droning than anything the Knife has released, but vocally, fans should feel right at home. The rest of Fever Ray’s self-titled album follows a similar pattern of musically-different-but-vocally-similar, and that’s certainly not a bad thing. “If I Had a Heart” is the first single from the self-titled debut, which has already been released digitally on Mute Records, with physical copies expected around March.
