Little Joy - “Brand New Start”

Side projects by drummers of already-successful groups are rarely something worth listening to, but Little Joy, side project for Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, is an exception to that rule. Little Joy plays music of a sunshiney and slightly Latin-influenced variety that rarely feels like the Strokes and always seems to make me smile.

“Brand New Start” is the second track off Little Joy’s self-titled debut (available now on Rough Trade), and will hopefully make this cold winter morning feel a bit warmer.
