Department of Eagles - “No One Does It Like You”

Department of Eagles does a kind of dreamy pop-folk that feels a bit like Grizzly Bear. In fact, fans of Grizzly Bear should feel right at home with Department of Eagles since DoE was formed in 2001 by Grizzly Bear member Daniel Rossen. DoE’s debut album has actually been in the works for several years now and is set to be released on 4AD on October 7th.

“No One Does It Like You” is one of the first singles from the album, and it sports an ambling hook, and an almost Brian Wilson-esque vocal style that’s great for this late summer/early fall weather.
