Paper Route - “Are We All Forgotten”

I thought I’d hate Paper Route, with the understated vocals and fuzzy synth notes.  There are times when it almost feels like someone mashed up Band of Horses with Berlin, and I don’t know how they did it, but it really works. Their simple beats and broken-hearted lyrics really create something cohesively great and perfectly timed.

It’s very much an indie rock band with just enough ambient and electronica to make it feel fresh and exciting. At $2.17 on amazonmp3 for the 5 song EP of the same name, it’s also a steal (US only).
