It’s no secret that we at Tuneage love Daytrotter, especially their excellent Daytrotter Sessions. It’s also no secret that we love The Islands, which makes today’s Daytrotter Session perfect Tuneage fodder. The Islands’ session features 1 cover, 1 track off their upcoming album, Arm’s Way, and 2 cuts from their debut album Return to the Sea.

We’re featuring “The Arm”, a song from the upcoming album. The track uses a far more stripped-down arrangement which gives the song a more raw feel than the album version.
