The Jesus and Mary Chain - Sometimes Always
Since I started this week with a duet, I thought why not continue with the theme and share some of my other favorite musical pairings. 1994’s “Sometimes Always” is a sweet and simple break-up tale sung by JAMC’s Jim Reid and Mazzy Star’s Hope Sandoval.
This isn’t the noise-pop assault of JAMC’s Psychocandy era. Rather, it’s the sort of tune you’d play on an overcast Sunday morning while still trying to rub the sleep out of your eyes.
