Fionn Regan - “Put a Penny in the Slot”
For a debut album, Fionn Regan’s End of History is pretty good. Did I say pretty good? I should have said awesome. No, amazing… wait… wonderful! There is not enough that can be said about this album. It all seems very delicate from the first notes of “Be Good or Be Gone” and I suppose that it stays that way on the surface but that’s ok. These songs lend themselves to being sweet and intricate. Regan will always draw comparisons to numerous singer/songwriters but he is in a class of his own. It begs the question, is this the end of history… or just the beginning?
