El Michels Affair - “C.R.E.A.M.” (Wu-Tang Cover)

I think the concept of live bands covering classic soul/sample-heavy hip-hop beats is fucking fresh as hell. Check out El Michels Affair over at Audible Treats for some more Wu goodness and info on the NYC-based revival band. Hearing RZA’s legendarily grimy, dirty production re-born as live soul is pure gold.

El Michels Affair’s sophomore album Enter The 37th Chamber, an album of (you guessed it) Wu-Tang interpolations, just dropped on Fat Beats Records.
