Enjoyed: A Tribute to Björk's Post →
Here’s something that will make your day a little better, courtesy of Stereogum. Enjoyed is a cover album of Björk’s Post, including tracks by Liars, Bell, Xiu Xiu, and No Age. Also included is an excellent, in-depth interview with Björk about the album.
Enjoy. I certainly plan to.

Cut Copy - Lights & Music
I’m salivating in anticipation of the release of Cut Copy’s latest album In Ghost Colours. The Aussie synthpoppers have had me burning up the kitchen tiles with my new wave moves since I first heard their single “Hearts on Fire.” While recently released in the band’s homeland on March 22nd, the album will not hit U.S. shelves until April 8th.

Music tumblelog finds new contributor
Well, it’s official, we’ve selected our newest contributor, and I’ll let her introduce herself later.
Tuneage wants to thank everyone who sent in submissions; we had a blast reading through them all and getting a feel for the wide range of music our readers listen to. As Tuneage continues to grow, we’ll undoubtedly be adding more to the “staff” in the future,...

Submissions Closed
Tuneage would like to extend a huge thanks to everyone who wrote in to be our next contributor—the response was even better than we anticipated!
We’ll begin sifting through the submissions and our next contributor will hear from us within the next day or two. Thanks again to all who submitted; it’s both humbling and exciting to see such an interest in our tumblelog and such a...

Music Tumblelog Seeks New Contributor
Tuneage has surprised us all. In just over one month, it has already exceeded every expectation we had when we started it. With that in mind, we’re turning to the tumbling masses to find another contributor to our humble tumblelog.
If you’re interested in contributing to Tuneage, we’ll need a few (very minor) things from you:
A link to your Tumblr-hosted tumblelog and a...

Matador Records' Intended Play 2008 →
Matador Records just released their annual Intended Play compilation, which is a sampler of the label’s recent and upcoming releases — it’s also digital for the first time. In the simplest terms possible: free music!
Highlights include Times New Viking, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, Cat Power, and The New Pornographers.

More Changes
We’ve made a few more changes to Tuneage. It was starting to look a little cluttered, so we added a sidebar, and moved the list of contributors to there. As well as that, we’ve added a permanent list of our favourite links, including the ones you recommended — feel free to suggest a few more; the more the better.
Also, when we added comments we mentioned that they were in on a trial...

List: Other Fish in the Sea?
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “Tuneage keeps me in good tunes, but surely there’s somewhere else out there where I can find new music?” Well, you’re in luck, there are other music blogs out there, and we’d be lying if we said we didn’t read a few of them.
If you need to supplement your daily dose of Tuneage with another site, we...

Another week of Tuneage, and another Sunday round-up of songs. This week’s roundup is missing two tracks (The Halos, and Sean Lee), but you can listen to those here and here (respectively) if you missed them. So, without any further ado, here’s the list of songs in this week’s round-up:
Alberta Cross - Old Man Chicago
Basia Bulat - Before I Knew (Live on Radio K)
Miles Davis...

Six-Word Reviews of 763 SXSW Mp3s →
We linked to SXSW’s music showcase a few weeks ago. Even if you’re not going to (or already at) SXSW, it’s a great way of finding new music. But even for us, that’s a lot of music to look through.
Enter Paul Ford. In this article for The Morning News, he downloads and listens to all 763 tracks offered by the SXSW people and gives them a rating out of 5, and reviews them...

Lauren Zettler →
Amy wrote a review of Lauren Zettler, a singer/songwriter from Indiana, on her blog.
If she sounds good, you might be able to catch her at SXSW this week, too:
If you’re at SXSW this week, try to make it to Lauren’s show. She’s playing at 10 AM at the Austin Farmer’s Market on Saturday.

Going Through Changes
This isn’t music-related in the slightest, so feel free to gloss right over it if you like. We just wanted to mention a few minor changes to Tuneage. While everyone cool has been in Austin having fun at SXSW, we’ve been toiling away on making Tuneage better, and this is what we’ve got so far.
First of all: We made a slight design change and put some navigation in. That was a...
